I love Cherokee and I enjoyed gambling but the experience left me with a very bad taste for this operation. I don't foresee going back to this hotel in the near future. The front desk questioned my truthfulness by actually listening to the call log of when I made my reservation. Forcing someone to stay in a smoking room is not a good policy. Having to ask over and over and it took several hours to convince management to give us a non-smoking room because we needed one. This hotel only offers pet friendly rooms that are also smoking rooms plus a $75 fee is charged for these offensively smelly and unhealthy rooms. Being forced to stay in a smoking room even though I was paying a pet fee was not a pleasant experience. After telling me they could not accommodate a king room, they miraculous had 2 that appeared. My summary would be I felt like I was being called a liar regarding the type of reservation I made and the fact that the hotel could not accommodate when I checked in. I did not expect to have the terrible experience I did on this trip.
